Today, we have a special announcement. As you probably seen by the title, it has been almost 4 months since the project UEFA was making to promote women’s football stop to the public. But finally…
They’re back! Uefa has launched what it seems a revolution; a new season for a special Youtube channel, where the most known faces of women’s football will show the world what women’s football is made off, and how cool it can be. That YouTube channel in non-other than “WePlayStrong”, which is part of UEFA’s ongoing strategy to grow the participation of girls’ and women’s football in each of its 55 national associations.
The Together #WePlayStrong channel, once again, will provide a platform for players across Europe to share their experiences in football. There will also be original content focusing on the footballers’ routines and epic football challenges as well as some beauty and style content, health and fitness advice for those who might be interested.
The #WePlayStrong campaign is sponsored by Visa, which signed on as the main partner of Uefa’s women’s football properties in December 2018.
UEFA’s Director of Marketing, Guy-Laurent Epstein, said: “The #WePlayStrong YouTube channel is a platform designed to inspire girls and women around the world. Our aim is to not only make #WePlayStrong a thriving digital platform but an inclusive and supportive community.”
We hope everything goes well for them on YouTube once again, and that they can repeat the records they achieved last year. A pilot YouTube vlog series last year received nearly six million views, so…
We’ll need to wait and see on Youtube how the adventure goes.
